A message from my team
I reproduce this message here not so much because of what it says, much of which has already happened, but more for where it leads. Many vaccine passport requirements have now been lifted in this country, but not masks in retail environments – although they are somehow not necessary for large social events involving crowds of people. Meanwhile I know more people than ever who have had the bug, but none have been hospitalised, except for a vaccinated family friend who had a seizure on the street and my old school friend who has been in hospital for chest and stomach pains.
My team encouraged me to have a break from social media, and like with cafes, something that once took my interest seems to have lost its appeal, as I look more closely at myself and what needs to be healed and understood. My own personal hope is for healing for humanity, for those who choose it, in the coming times.
